About the Business
Together we have over 23 years of experience in the food business. Diane had worked for various food manufacturing companies for over 15 years and together we have run successful catering businesses for the last 9 years. Before opening Cafe Alma in August 2013, we had mobile catering vans under the name ‘Hungerbusters' serving food at motorbike rallies, football matches and on construction sites across the North East. We had a first class reputation, serving good quality food and drink for hungry bikers and workers! We've prepared buffets for many, including my two eldest daughters weddings! Come and sample our food at the cafe and we'll gladly discuss your buffet requirements over a cup of tea.
We pride ourselves on serving quality food, we may not be the cheapest but our food isn't just good it's great.
