About the Business
Independent Catering - it's the best kept secret in the south of England and has been for 19 years since we first started to provide freshly prepared, locally sourced food for our young customers in the school kitchen. We have come a long way since then, creating food that, of course, surpasses the standards in the new school food plan whilst delivering delicious menus the children love at great value.
As a small (and yes, independent) caterer we take pride in sourcing from local suppliers using seasonal produce from Kent and surrounding counties, so you can be sure of the provenance of our food. Indeed all our schools and colleges have achieved the silver food for life award demonstrating our commitment to healthy, ethical and organic ingredients. We encourage staff and students to eat a balanced meal at lunchtime and parents can guarantee their lunchtime money is being spent on fresh food through our cashless system - credited on line via Squid!
